Lock the target in a constant state of desolation and strife by using oils such as wretched desolation oil, or mummy oil. Get creative with the hexing and cursing as this is an ideal symbol of living rot and decay, or perpetual torment.

As long at the focus and intent are in alignment with the symbiology then the effects of the casting will attach and hold. Meaning that if you can find a way to associate the function of the form to the color correspondence, then it should be effective.
