Depending on color correspondence you can use this for different aspects of the afore mentioned things. Such as black can be used to break a hex or to put a hex upon a target. The color we refer to as zombie, as it is a sickly greenish color and bleeds black when melting, can be used to hex a target into degrading beauty, either external or internal perception. While gold can be used to greatly enhance the effect of glamor, beauty, attraction work. Red being good to draw lust and passion. And so on depending on color and the symbolism you associate it with.
